Is it Biblical to prohibit the passing out of Bible scriptures?

Is it necessary to first ask permission of a pastor before ministering and fellowshipping with one another?

Is it Biblical for a pastor to prohibit individuals of a congregation from passing out Bible scriptures?

Are pastors supposed to protect the congregation from the truth or from the lies of Satan?

How should a pastor protect the congregation?

The problem with the "pastor" role is that it based on an Old Testament concept of "the priest", who is the one who can approach God on behalf of others (as per Moses).

The New Testament sees all believers as equal, hence one believer with one gifting should not be lording it over the others and telling what they should and should not do in their gifting.

We all have responsibility to "protect ourselves", since when tribulation comes the "pastor" will not be the one who protects and sustains you. Only Jesus will be able to do that.

If your pastor is prohibiting you and IF you are doing the task (whatever it is) in love and humility, then should you be under this man at all?

Pastors are nowadays pretty much paid to say what their leaders tell them to. The modern day pastor might well need to silence or get rid of members who (openly) point out heresies and contradictions between teaching and Scripture.

If i remember correctly, our prayers are worship offerings to God. And in the last days the daily offering will be stopped and an abomination set up in its place.

School began with morning prayer; it was shut down and a civilian code of conduct is now recited in the morning (here in SA, at least). God's praises were exchanged for the praise of Man.

As for the questions:
1 no
2 no
3 satan's lies; by
4 give them the Word (KJV)

Worse will come yet. The days of Jeremiah are being repeated in the churches. As will the punishment that is soon to come.

Interesting questions about the role of pastors. I think that a pastor should teach the truth and by so doing protect the congregation from the lies of Satan.

Why would a pastor want to prohibit individuals from passing out bible scriptures?
